How To download your Aadhaar online

To download your Aadhaar online, you have two main options:

1. Using your Aadhaar Number

  • Visit the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in/
  • Go to the “My Aadhaar” section and click on “Download Aadhaar”.
  • Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number.
  • Enter the captcha code for security verification.
  • Click on “Send OTP”.
  • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Click on “Verify and Download”.
  • Your e-Aadhaar will be downloaded in a password-protected PDF format.
  • The password to open the PDF is the first 4 letters of your name (in CAPITAL letters) followed by your year of birth (YYYY).

2. Using your Enrollment ID (EID)

  • If you don’t have your Aadhaar number yet, you can use your 28-digit
  • Enrollment ID (EID) which is provided at the time of enrollment.
  • Visit the official UIDAI website.
  • Go to the “My Aadhaar” section and click on “Download Aadhaar”.
  • Select the “Enrolment ID (EID)” option.
  • Enter your 28-digit EID.
  • Enter the captcha code.
  • Click on “Send OTP”.
  • Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  • Click on “Verify and Download”.
  • Your e-Aadhaar will be downloaded.
