An NAD ID is not something you obtain directly from DigiLocker. The National Academic Depository (NAD) is a separate platform that integrates with DigiLocker to allow students to access and share their academic records digitally.

Here’s how you can access your academic records through DigiLocker:

1. Create a DigiLocker Account: If you don’t have one, sign up for a DigiLocker account using your Aadhaar number or mobile number.

2. Pull Academic Awards: Within DigiLocker, search for your Board/University/Institution. Fill in the required details such as your roll number and year of passing. DigiLocker will then pull your academic awards from the NAD and store them in your “Issued Documents” section.

Important Points to Remember:

• Your academic institution needs to be registered with the NAD for you to be able to access your records through DigiLocker.

• The NAD ID is an internal identifier used by the NAD system and is not typically something you would need to know or use.

• If you’re having trouble accessing your records, reach out to your academic institution or the NAD support team for assistance.
