Uttar Pradesh state government has put out over 58,000 vacancies for their new jobs in Uttar Pradesh state government’s Panchayat Raj Department. To fill the vacancies, job openings are available for people to be the head of a panchayat or work as an accountant who performs data entry.

These 58,189 gramme panchayat offices in the state are currently being developed by the state government. It will cost the government approximately Rs 1.75 lakh each to establish each of the panchayat offices. The hiring of a panchayat assistant and a data entry operator-cum-accountant is being done to ensure an efficient office.
Salary for these two posts will be Rs 6,000 per month. There will be a written exam and an interview process for the selection process.

Applicants should submit their application forms to the office of the District Panchayat Raj Officer within 15 days of the recruitment announcement.
Minister for Panchayati Raj Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary noted that candidates with a family member who has died due to COVID-19 will be given preference. At the panchayat election, those who are hired for the panchayat will all be members of the SC/OBC community.
