The NFL Wild Card Game Live From Bikini Bottom, Nickelodeon and CBS Sports’ sixth slime-filled alternative NFL show, is about to air. Since the inaugural Nickelodeon altcast of an NFL game in 2021, this type of broadcast has advanced greatly, both technically and creatively. This Saturday, the Chargers and Texans will be showcased in a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed presentation.
Following Super Bowl LVIII Live From Bikini Bottom, the first-ever altcast for a Super Bowl, which garnered a Sports Emmy Award, CBS Sports and Nickelodeon will once again team up for another family-friendly NFL game, this time the third NFL Wild Card game.
Fans of Paramount’s other properties will be making cameo appearances on the Nickelodeon broadcast, including Transformers, Hey Arnold!, CatDog, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Loud House, The Tiny Chef Show, The Fairly OddParents, Rugrats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and countless more. This will be an extra special treat for this outing.
