How to start making international calls on Jio ISD?
Local and national calls can be made through a normal cellular network, but users must pay for an additional ISD packet, which vary across various mobile networks, for calling internationally.
Users are allowed to make international calls with International Subscriber Dialling Service, commonly called ISD.
A dedicated ISD package includes fixed time for talk and also send ISD messages is provided to Jio customers. In over 14,000 region codes, Jio offers ISD service to 230 countries.
Jio’s international calling ISD package:
Reliance-owned Jio offers a global ISD 501 package which is available to both pre-paid and post-paid customers and costs Rs 501.
Once this is subscribed, customers are allowed to make ISD calls with the area code and prefix “+” to the global phone number.
How can ISD on the Jio number be enabled?
The Global ISD Combo 501 Pack is available for Jio prepayment clients at the queue of the MyJio application and has to be bought as any regular add-on packs. After an international number is dialled it is activated.
Postpaying users can decide on their monthly schedule for the ISD packet and the fees will be included in the bill when they are enabled.
What is the ISD package for users?
– Customers of both prepaid and postpay can use the MyJio app to enable the ISD package.
– In addition, pre-paid and post-paid customers may subscribe for the ISD pack through Jio.com.
– Jio Fiber ISD pack can be chosen by the users of the connection.
