To activate your Postpaid Roaming, Call *888 or *800 for Smart Infinity users to ensure that your roaming service is active. For Prepaid, Text ROAM ON to 333 before you travel.
When back in the Philippines, text ROAM OFF to 333 to subscribe to local offers. For more info call us at *888 or at +632 88388878 when abroad.
Step 1
On your phone’s web browser, go to gigaroam.smart.com.ph, choose your destination and press continue.
Step 2
Browse among the available data plans and select PROCEED on the plan that you desire.
Step 3
Enter your mobile number.
You’ll be prompted to enter and confirm your One-time PIN.
Step 4
Select your preferred payment option.
You’ll be prompted to input your account details.
Step 5
A successful notification display will pop up and a text confirmation will be sent to your mobile number.
You’re all set to start surfing abroad!
Did you want to subscribe to a different data roaming package?
Opt-out first to Roam Surf 550. Simply click on the opt-out link found on the activation SMS you received for Roam Surf 550.

Why did this happen? Turning on data roaming without subscribing to a data roaming pack, automatically registers you to Roam Surf 550 for your convenience. To prevent this from happening again, immediately go to roam.smart.com.ph and subscribe to your preferred package, as soon as you turn on your MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING while abroad. Check your active subscriptions
You can check your active subscriptions by selecting “ACTIVE” on your data roaming manager. Follow the steps below to get there.
- Step 1: You must be outside the Philippines to access the data roaming manager.
- Step 2: On your handset, Turn off your WIFI.
- Step 1: Turn on MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING and wait for 4G/LTE to appear.
- Step 1: Go to roam.smart.com.ph and select “ACTIVE
