How To Activate HDFC Credit Card: HDFC Bank Credit Card Activation Guidelines
To activate your new HDFC Bank Credit Card, use your Credit Card for at least 1 Online or POS transactions. Visit Mycards.hdfcbank.com log in through OTP and link your credit card. Please click on the “Card Control” tab to enable Online, Contactless and/or International transactions.

Through Credit Card usage:
Use your Credit Card for at least 1 Online or POS transactions to keep your Credit Card active. Also, earn Rs 250 worth gift vouchers on making 1 transaction in the first 37 days.

Through MyCards
Enabling your online, contactless and international transactions :– Visit Mycards.hdfcbank.com log in through OTP and link your credit card. Please click on the “Card Control” tab to enable Online, Contactless and/or International transactions
Through Whatsapp Banking

Please visit https://www.hdfcbank.com/?query=manage%20my%20credit%20card and choose your preferred transactions to enable
Setting Credit Card PIN :
– Through ATM
– Card holders can set their 4-digit Credit Card PIN at HDFC BANK ATM with green PIN shared to the registered Mobile No.
– Through IVR
– Card holders can set their 4 digit Credit Card PIN by calling IVR No. 1860 266 0333. Upon calling the IVR please input your card number, validate through OTP and set your preferred PIN
– Through Net Banking
– Log in to our Net Banking and visit Cards. Choose Change PIN and set your preferred PIN (available only for customers holding savings/salary/current accounts)

– Through PwA:
Click the deep PwA link and activate the card with OTP.
What will happen if not activated within 37 days?
Your Credit Card will be closed and cannot be used further as per the regulations. Request you to contact us to apply for new credit card in future.
How to Enable Online transactions on your HDFC Bank Credit Card
Using EVA
- Click here to open HDFC Bank’s Digital Assistant – EVA
- Click on Manage my Credit Card >> Online(E-Commerce) Transactions
- Alternatively, you may type How to enable online transactions on my Credit Card?
- Provide your 10-digit mobile number.
- An OTP gets triggered to the mobile number. Enter the same.
- Enter the last 4 digits of your Credit Card number.
- Current status for online transaction type will be shown as disabled in the screen. Enable the same. Congratulations!!! You just enabled your Online Transactions.
Using WhatsApp Banking
1. On your mobile phone, add HDFC Bank’s Official WhatsApp number – 7065970659 to your contacts
2. In case you are viewing this on mobile Click here to add
3. Send the text Manage my Credit Card to the above number
4. You will receive a reply asking to choose from various options. Choose option corresponding to
Online Transactions (e.g. just type numeric 2)
5. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the same.
6. You will be prompted to enter the last 4 digits of your Credit Card number. Enter
7. Current status for online transaction type will be shown as disabled in the screen. Enable the same.
Congratulations!!! You just enabled your Online Transactions.
