Skyworks Stock Forecast 2025 : Stock Price, Predictions, Quotes, History

In a statement on Thursday, Ford Motor Co and chip producer GlobalFoundries Inc said they plan to work together to increase supply for the automaker’s vehicles and the broader U.S. auto sector, but they revealed few information about what the partnership encompassed.

They announced a non-binding agreement that might include raising Ford’s production capacity and collaborating on the development of numerous chip categories that are expected to be critical in the design of future vehicles, such as battery management systems and self-driving systems.

A global semiconductor scarcity has forced Ford and other automakers to reduce vehicle output during the past year. Chips received by most firms have been allocated to the most profitable vehicles. That has prompted automobile manufacturers to look into ways to increase the availability of chips.
