There are two primary ways to activate your Geisinger OTC Card:

1. Online:

  • Go to geisinger.nationsbenefits.com/activate
  • Follow the prompts to activate your card

2. By Phone:

  • Call 1-877-205-8005 (TTY: 711)
  • Follow the voice instructions to activate your card

For 2024, the Geisinger Gold Classic 360 Rx (HMO) over-the-counter program will provide $35 per month for over-the-counter (OTC) medications and health-related supplies. Through our partner NationsBenefits, your OTC benefit gives you access to hundreds of OTC products across a variety of categories and with participating retailers.

You’ll be able to access your personalized benefits through the NationsBenefits Benefits Pro Portal at geisinger.nationsbenefits.com or via the mobile app — making ordering even easier. You can also call 877-880-8874 (TTY: 711) on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time. Language support services are available if needed, free of charge.

A Benefits Mastercard® Prepaid Card will be mailed to your home within 10 days once you’re enrolled in Classic 360 Rx (HMO) with the stepby-step activation instructions. Use this prepaid card for approved OTC items at a participating location. At the beginning of each month, Geisinger Gold will apply a $35 balance for use on approved OTC items.

Once you receive and activate your card, you can start using it online through the MyBenefits portal and the MyBenefits app and/or in person at a participating retail location near you. When at a retail location, simply swipe your card for payment.

1. Visit geisinger.nationsbenefits.com or call 877-880-8874 (TTY: 711)

2. Enter the 16 digit card number and expiration date of your Benefits Mastercard® Prepaid Card.

3. Your 12-digit member ID contains 2 letters and 10 numbers

4. Enter your Date of Birth and Last Name provided to your health plan during enrollment

5. Click on Activate Card Button to activate your card

• Diabetes care
• Digestive health
• Eye and ear care
• First aid & medical supplies
