Potential causes for the Foxtel Error Code PE6007 include network connectivity issues, heavy server traffic, compatibility conflicts with the user’s device, operating system, or browser, restrictions imposed by the user’s location, or app or browser malfunctions.

Check that you have a solid connection to the internet. Make sure your device is running on the latest software. Check you’re not using a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Due to rights and licensing agreements, Foxtel Now can’t be viewed on a VPN.

Foxtel Now won’t load

If you see a blank screen while trying to open Foxtel Now, or it’s freezing while loading, this may be due to a fault with the device or an issue with the internet connection. Follow the below troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue.

Before you start

  • Check that you have a solid connection to the internet.
  • Make sure your device is running on the latest software.
  • Check you’re not using a VPN (Virtual Private Network).
    • Due to rights and licensing agreements, Foxtel Now can’t be viewed on a VPN. If you have one, it will need to be disabled before you can view Foxtel Now.

Step 1: Perform a speed test

Test your internet speed to ensure the connection is suitable for the Foxtel Now app. Your internet speed should be 3Mbps or above.

  1. Open an internet browser and go to http://www.speedtest.net/.
  2. Click Begin Test. This test can take up to 30-40 seconds.

If the speed is below 3Mbps, you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider.

If the speed is below 3Mbps, go to the next step.

Step 2: Reboot modem and device

  1. Refresh your internet connection by unplugging the power cable from the back of your modem and plugging it back in.
  2. Wait one minute, then turn the TV off and back on again.
  3. Retry the app.

If you’re still experiencing the issue, go to the next step.

Step 3: Check picture quality settings

You can adjust the picture quality to suit your internet speed and data usage. The higher the picture quality, the more data will be used.

  1. Open the Foxtel Now app.
  2. Select the Settings wheel in the top right corner of the window.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Data Usage.
  5. Select Auto or Low depending on your internet connection.
    Note: Auto uses up to 3.2GB per hour, while Low uses up to 1.4GB per hour.
  6. Retry the app.
