CPA Exam Score Release 2025
Continuous testing throughout 2025. Target score release dates depend on when the AICPA receives your exam data. Refer to the AICPA website for the detailed schedule.
Understanding the Process
- After your exam: Prometric (the testing center) sends your exam data to the AICPA within 24 hours.
- AICPA scoring: The AICPA scores your exam.
- Score release to NASBA: The AICPA sends your scores to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) on the target release date.
- NASBA posting: NASBA usually posts scores on their website within 48 hours of receiving them.
- State board notification: Your state board may take an extra day to process and release scores.
2024 Score Release Dates
• Core Sections (AUD, FAR, REG): Continuous testing throughout 2024. Target score release dates are available on the AICPA website, but generally fall within a few weeks of your exam date.
• Discipline Sections (BAR, ISC, TCP):
- Testing Dates: January 1-31 | Target Score Release: March 14
- Testing Dates: April 1-30 | Target Score Release: May 16
- Testing Dates: June 1-30 | Target Score Release: July 17
- Testing Dates: July 1-31 | Target Score Release: September 11
- Testing Dates: October 1-31 | Target Score Release: December 16
