Activating your Mastercard Gift Card is quick and easy! Here’s how:

1. Online:

  • Go to the Mastercard Gift Card website: https://balance.mastercardgiftcard.com
  • Enter your card number, expiration date, and the 3-digit security code (CVV) found on the back of the card.
  • Click “Activate.”

2. By Phone:

  • Call the toll-free number on the back of your card. This is usually 1-833-623-3266, but double-check your card to be sure.
  • Follow the automated prompts and provide the required information (card number, expiration date, and CVV).

If your Gift Card was purchased at Mastercardgiftcard.com, in most cases, the Card is ready for use immediately. You can also activate your Gift Card and check the balance at https://balance.mastercardgiftcard.com or by calling the toll-free number listed on the back of your Card. You will need to provide your Card number, valid thru date, and security code located on the back of your Card.

We recommend that you sign your name on the back of the Gift Card, and record the following information in case your Gift Card is ever lost or stolen: Gift Card number, 4-digit Card Identification Code on the front of the Card, Security Code located on the back of the Card, Customer Service phone number.

You can use your Mastercard Gift Card virtually anywhere Mastercard Cards are accepted within the United States and District of Columbia, except the Gift Card may not be used for recurring billing or at ATMs.

You can use your Mastercard Gift Virtual Account with any United States-based online, phone, or mail-order merchants wherever Mastercard debit cards are accepted. Please remember, you will only be able to shop with merchants in the United States and District of Columbia. Your Virtual Account cannot be used for transactions requiring a physical card.

When paying at the pump, some merchants can authorize and hold up to $100 or the full value of your card, whichever amount is smaller to ensure you have sufficient funds. So, make sure you always know your balance. To avoid the hold at the pump, give your card to the attendant to prepay for the gas.

Mastercard Gift Cards cannot be used at ATMs nor can you get cash back from any of your purchases.

Simply go to https://balance.mastercardgiftcard.com and enter your Gift Card’s Security Code, Expiration Date, and Card Number.

To view orders, sign in to MastercardGiftCard.com with your user ID and password, and view past orders under My Account. You can also click Track Orders and use your Email Address and Order Number.

Mastercard Gift Card sells Gift Cards for email delivery. Please select ‘email’ as a delivery type on your choice of card and follow steps to purchase. Once you have purchased, your email Gift Card can be accessed as a Mastercard Gift Virtual Account.

The expiration date of the card plastic is printed on your card for your reference. Funds do not expire. Contact Mastercard Gift Card customer care for a replacement account number upon account expiration.
