Assurance Wireless Activation Code Number : Assurance Wireless Activation Not Working

To activate your Assurance Wireless My Account, dial the code 611 from your Assurance Wireless phone Number or call 1-888-321-5880 from any phone so they may activate your new SIM Card for you.

Assurance Wireless Lifeline service is free to qualified consumers. Additional voice minutes, data, international calling and international texting are available for an additional fee. For more information, go to the “Adding Services to Your Account” section.

If you called Customer Care to order your SIM Card, dial 611 from your Assurance Wireless phone or call 1-888-321-5880 from any phone so they may activate your new SIM Card for you.

If you ordered your SIM Card through My Account:-

Sign into My Account and follow the login instructions. We recommend using a computer, if possible, rather than your phone

Tap Activate SIM Card.

Locate your 20-digit ICC ID number below the barcode on the back of the card that contained your SIM Card

Enter your ICC ID two times and tap Next

You may be asked to review your service plan. If the information is correct, tap Next.

When you receive a success message, your SIM card has been activated. If you are activating your SIM Card using your phone, you may not see the success message.

Qualifications:

Enrollment is available to individuals who qualify based on federal or state-specific eligibility criteria. You may qualify if you are on certain public assistance programs, like Medicaid or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

You can also qualify based on your household income. If you are unemployed, you can use your Unemployment Benefit Letter as proof of eligibility until 3/31/22.

Proof of Eligibility:

You must provide proof of program participation or proof of income.

One Account per Household:

The Lifeline Assistance program is available for only one wireless or wireline account per household. Separate households that live at the same address are eligible, including residents of homeless shelters and nursing homes. Residents with temporary addresses are also eligible.

How do I qualify for Assurance Wireless Lifeline service?

Requirements vary from state to state, but generally you may qualify for Assurance Wireless Lifeline service if you are on certain public assistance programs or based on your household income.

Qualifying public assistance programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Medicaid (Medicare is not acceptable)
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit Program
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8)

If you live in Michigan you may qualify based on the following additional programs:

  • Michigan: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), The National School Lunch Program’s Free Lunch Program.

If you live on Tribal Lands in California, Florida, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nevada or Wisconsin, additional qualifying programs include:

  • Tribal Temporary Aid for Needy Families (Tribal TANF)
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
  • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
  • Head Start (Tribal Only)

Insert Your SIM Card into your phone.

Before you begin, please make sure your phone is fully charged, you have a second phone nearby in case you need to call us for help, and you have your new SIM Card handy.

1. Turn off your phone.

2. Remove your phone’s back cover.

3. Find the SIM Card slot

4. Carefully remove the old SIM Card using your fingernail or a paperclip

5. SIM Cards come in three sizes. Use your old SIM Card as a guide and punch out a new SIM Card that is the exact same size.

6. Gently slide the new SIM Card into the slot with the metallic side down. Make sure the angled corner of the SIM Card is inserted so it is in the same position as your old SIM card when it was in your phone.

7. Replace the phone’s back cover.

8. Power up your phone and start talking, texting, and going online.
