Here’s how to activate your UCard with UnitedHealthcare:
1. Online Activation:

With your UnitedHealthcare UCard, it’s easy to use your credit to:

What is the U card?

Your UnitedHealthcare UCard® is your member ID and so much more. Only the UCard gives you access to a large national network of Medicare Advantage providers, credits to help pay for healthy food, OTC products, and utilities, and more.
Can you use UCard on Amazon?
Starting in 2024, products will be fulfilled by Amazon (note: the UnitedHealthcare® UCard will not work to buy directly through Amazon).
How do I check my balance on my OTC card?
Can I check my OTC Card balance? Yes, you can. Check your balance online anytime at mybenefitscenter.com. Once on the site, you will be asked to enter your 19-digit OTC Card number.
Is the U card a credit card?
The UnitedHealthcare Ucard is a prepaid debit card with existing credit provided by UnitedHealthcare.
Is there an app for the UCard?
Android. Users can download the application for Android here or search the app store for USWU or United Service Workers Union in the Google Play Store.
Can I use my UHC card on Amazon?
A: Amazon does not accept over-the-counter (OTC) purchases. However, Amazon will begin working with UnitedHealthcare in 2024 to fulfill online orders for participating members with an OTC-only benefit.
Can I withdraw money from my U card?
It is a campus, not a bank, debit account which can be used to make purchases nearly everywhere on-campus as well as at participating off-campus locations. You cannot withdraw funds from it – funds must either be spent down, or the account must be closed. It cannot be used to purchase tobacco products.
