Scholarship Policy for SSAT
Scholarship policy for STEP Self-Assessment Test is straight and holistic. Along with 2500 top scorers STEP will also give scholarship to other students as well.
- 100% Scholarship for Top 2500 scorers
- 10% scholarship for Non-Punjabians or Non-Hadaf Students on qualifying in the STEP Self-Assessment Test
- 25% scholarship for Non-Punjabians or Non-Hadaf Students scoring 80% and above marks in the STEP Self-Assessment Test

Instructions
- Response form will be issued only once.
- Candidates are advised to bring with them a cardboard or a clipboard.
- Use blue ball point pen only. Lead pencils and markers not allowed.
- Completely fill the circle. Inappropriate filling will not be read by the optical mark reader.
- Fill only one circle for each entry as the answer once marked, is not liable to be changed.
- The candidate should not mark answers on the Question Paper.
- Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any textual material, printed or written, bits of paper, envelopes, electronic devices, calculators, mobile devices or any other aiding material inside the examination hall.
- No candidate will be allowed to leave the test centre until the test and discussion is over.
Duration & Marks
- for Medical students, the duration of test will be 75 minutes (1 hour 15 minutes).
- for Engineering students, the duration of test will be 100 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes).
- There will be no negative marking in the Medical Test. For each correct answer, one (1) mark will be awarded.
- There will be negative marking in the Engineering Test. For each correct answer, four (4) marks will be awarded. For each incorrect answer (1) mark will be deducted from the total score. No mark will be deducted on not attempting a question.
- The test will start on the given time and centre’s supervisory staff to that effect will make an announcement.
