To activate your Techron Advantage Visa Card, go to Chevron Texaco Cards website techronadvantagecard.com and follow the instructions. Call the number on the back of your card.
There are a few ways to activate your Techron Advantage Visa Card:
1. Online: Visit the Chevron Texaco Cards website techronadvantagecard.com and follow the instructions.
2. Phone: Call the number on the back of your card.
3. Mobile App: Add your card as a payment method in the Chevron or Texaco app. You will then receive a verification code via phone call or SMS text to validate.
Once you have activated your card, you can start using it to earn fuel discounts and other rewards.
Applicants for the Techron Advantage Card will first receive the Visa Credit Card. Applicants who was not selected would automatically considered for the Techron advantage Credit Card.
What is the introductory offer for new cardholders?
1. New cardholders get 37¢/gal. in Fuel Discounts at the pump or earn as statement credits for 90 days when they open a new account starting October 1, 2024.
2. Plus, with everyday rewards, that’s up to 40¢/gal. in Fuel Discounts for new credit cardholders when they fill up at a Chevron or Texaco Station! And up to 50¢/gal. in Fuel Discounts for new Visa credit cardholders when they make qualifying purchases outside of fuel merchants and fill up at at a Chevron or Texaco station!
How Fuel Credits Work
Techron Advantage Credit Card Account (“Card Account”) and Techron Advantage Visa Credit Card Account (“Visa Card Account”)
Fuel credits had been earned on fuel purchases made at participating Chevron or Texaco stations in the U.S. before the billing period and will be applied as a statement credit to the balance on your Card Account or Visa Card Account at the end of the billing period in which they are earned.
For each fuel purchase, you will earn three cents ($0.03) per gallon in Fuel Credits (“Base Fuel Credits”) that can be combined with additional Fuel Credits as explained below. Fuel Credits will not be earned on Chevron or Texaco commercial aviation fuel or on marine fuel purchases or cash advances. Your account must be in good standing to earn and receive Fuel Credits.
If your Card Account or Visa Card Account is suspended, you will not earn Fuel Credits until your charging privileges have been restored. Fuel Credits will be forfeited if your Card Account or Visa Card Account is closed, whether by you or Synchrony Bank.
