Student Discount
While the Monterey Bay Aquarium doesn’t offer specific student discounts on single-day admission tickets, there are a few ways students can save:
Student Memberships:
- A special student membership is available for $75 (compared to $95 for a regular individual membership).
- This provides unlimited visits for one year, access to special events, and discounts at the Aquarium store and restaurant.
- Students need a valid student ID to purchase this membership.
Free Admission for CSUMB Students:
- If you’re a student at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), you can get a free Student Ocean Stewards pass.
- These passes are available through the fall and spring semesters and allow for unlimited visits during their validity period.
- You’ll need your CSUMB Student OtterCard and student ID number to claim your pass.
Check with Your School:
- Some colleges and universities may offer discounted tickets or group visits to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
- Check with your school’s student activities office or any relevant clubs or organizations to see if they have any special offers available.
Remember that proof of student status, such as a valid student ID, may be required to take advantage of any student discounts or benefits.
