How to search games

There are a couple of ways to search for games on Scratch:

1. Using the Search Bar:

• Locate the Search Bar: At the top of the page, you’ll see a search bar.
• Enter Your Search Term: Type in “games” or a more specific term like “platformer games” or “puzzle games” and press Enter.
• Explore the Results: You’ll be presented with a list of projects related to your search. You can filter the results by:
  • Most Loved: Projects with the most hearts (likes).
  • Most Favorited: Projects added to the most studios (collections).
  • Most Viewed: Projects with the most views.
  • Most Remixed: Projects that have been copied and modified the most.
  • Recently Shared: Projects that were recently uploaded to the platform.

2. Exploring the “Explore” Section:

• Click on “Explore”: On the top navigation bar, click the “Explore” link.
• Select “Games”: In the left sidebar, under “Project Type,” click on “Games.”
• Browse or Filter: You can now browse through the featured games or further filter the results by:
  • Trending: Popular projects that are currently gaining attention.
  • Popular: Projects that have consistently been popular over time.
  • Recent: Projects that were recently uploaded.

The more specific your search term, the more relevant the results will be. Combine keywords to narrow down your search (e.g., “platformer adventure games”). Studios are collections of projects often centered around a theme. Look for studios dedicated to games.
