To activate Apple Intelligence on MAC, You need an Apple silicon Mac or a Mac with an M-series chip. Apple Intelligence is not supported on Intel Macs.

  1. Make sure you have the right hardware and software:

Prerequisites:

  • Your iPhone needs to be updated to iOS 18.1 or later.
  • Your device language and Siri language must be set to a supported language (currently English).
  • You need to have an active internet connection

Steps:

  1. Update to iOS 18.1 or later:-

    • If your iPhone isn’t already running iOS 18.1 or later, go to Settings > General > Software Update and install the latest version.

  2. Join the waitlist:

    • Open the Settings app
    • Tap on Apple Intelligence & Siri.
    • Tap on Join the Apple Intelligence Waitlist.
    • Tap on Join Waitlist to confirm.
    • You’ll typically get accepted within a few hours, but wait times may vary. You’ll receive a notification when you’re accepted.
  3. Activate Apple Intelligence:

    • Once you’re accepted, go back to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri.
    • You should now see an option to Turn On Apple Intelligence. Tap on it.
    • A welcome message will appear, and on-device Apple Intelligence models will start downloading.
