Max Activate Device https://auth.max.com/link

To activate your Max TV, on your phone or computer, go to max.com/signin. Then, enter the 6-character code from your TV. On your TV, choose who’s watching and you’re ready to stream.

1. Install the Max app.

2. Open Max and choose Sign In. Or if you get Max or HBO through an internet, mobile, or TV provider, choose Connect Your Provider and follow the Connect your provider steps.

Already signed in? Choose the Settings icon  (lower left) and then Sign Out.

3. Now, choose a TV sign-in option:

Scan the QR code on your TV to sign in. Here’s how:

1. Stay on the TV screen with the QR code while you grab your phone or computer.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Open your phone’s camera and scan the QR code on your TV.
     iPhone or Android QR steps.
     -or-
   • On your phone or computer, go to max.com/signin. Then, enter the 6-character code from your TV.

Now, on your phone or computer:

1. 1. Enter your Max (or HBO Max) account email and password, and then choose Sign In.
      Forgot password? Go to Reset your password.
   2. On your TV, choose who’s watching and you’re ready to stream.

Code not working?

If the 6-character code isn’t working, here are some things to try:

• Open a private or incognito browser window and then go to max.com/signin.
• Try signing in another way (e.g. choose Use Your Remote).
• Try using a different supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari).
• Enter the code from your TV at max.com/signin on your computer instead of your phone (or vice versa).

Link With Wi-Fi (on some devices)

Sign in on your TV using the Max app on your phone or tablet. Here’s how:

1. 1. On your phone or tablet, open the Max app and sign in (if needed). Keep the Max app open and active.

Then, on your TV device:

1. 1. On the Sign In screen, choose Link With Wi-Fi (on the left).
      (This option is not available on all TV devices.)
   2. Stay on the Link With Wi-Fi screen while you grab your phone or tablet.

Now, on your phone or tablet:

1. Go back to Max and choose Allow when asked if your TV can sign in to your Max account.
   You’ll be signed in on your TV.
2. On your TV, choose who’s watching and you’re ready to stream.

Use Your Remote

Sign in on your TV using your TV remote. Here’s how:

1. On the Sign In screen, choose Use Your Remote (on the left).

2. Enter your Max (or HBO Max) account email and password, and then choose Sign In.

Forgot password? Go to Reset your password.

If you have trouble entering your info on your TV, press the Select or OK button on your remote to open the on-screen keyboard.

3. Choose who’s watching and you’re ready to stream.

Roku: When you sign in, choose Continue (if your Max account email is the same as your Roku account), or choose Use different email to enter another email address.
