Activate – WatchESPN on Roku, FireTV, Apple, Vizio, Samsung TV
To activate ESPN on your TV-connected device, follow these steps:
- Launch the ESPN app on your device.
- Go to the Settings icon (usually located in the top right corner).
- Select “Subscriptions,” then choose “ESPN+” from the list.
- Click the “Login” button at the bottom.
- Visit espn.com/activate on a computer or mobile device.
- Enter the code displayed on your TV screen and select “Continue.”
- Finally, enter the email address and password associated with your ESPN+ subscription, and click “Log in”.

Activating the ESPN App on Vizio TV
1. Open the ESPN app on your Vizio TV. You will be prompted to visit espn.com/activate on a computer or mobile device. Make a note of the Activation Code, as it is required in the next step.
2. Once you have accessed espn.com/activate, enter the Activation Code.
3. If you do not have an ESPN.com account, you will be prompted to create one. If you do have an ESPN.com account, go to Step 4.
4. If you already have an active ESPN.com account, log in with the email and password associated with your account.
5. You will be directed to ESPN Main Page. The first time you click on any content tile, you will be prompted to link your account with your TV Provider.
6. You will be prompted to visit espn.com/activate on a computer or mobile device. Note the Activation Code, as it is required in the next step.
7. To view ESPN+ content, access the ESPN+ tab by clicking on the ESPN+ banner, any ESPN+ content thumbnail, or via the Settings tab.
If you do not currently subscribe to ESPN+, you will be prompted to go to espn.com/subscribe, where you may select a subscription plan that suits you. Note the Activation Code, as it is required in the next step.
8. Once you have entered the Activation Code, you will be prompted to log in again to continue the subscription process.
9. You will now be able to select a plan, enter your payment information, and review the Terms and Conditions. Once you are ready, click on “Agree & Subscribe.”
NOTE: If any information is entered incorrectly, an error message will appear.
10. Once the transaction is successful, go back to the ESPN app on your Vizio device and select “Continue” to verify your subscription is active.
11. If everything is successful, you will receive a subscription/purchase success screen or go directly into playback if content was selected
Authentication on LG TVs
1 – Open the applications not logged into your ESPN+/ESPN account.
2 – Use a computer or mobile device to open the activation website
3 – If your email address is not recognized, you will be prompted to create an account.
4 – If your email account is recognized, you will be prompted to enter your ESPN password.
5 – Once logged in, you will be directed to the ESPN Main Page.
6 – The first time you click on any content tile, you will be prompted to link your TV/Cable Provider.

7 – To view ESPN+ content, click on the ESPN+ tab, ESPN+ banner, or any ESPN+ branded tile. You may also log in via the Settings tab.
8 – If you do not have an active ESPN+ subscription and would like to subscribe, you will be able to select a subscription plan to purchase. Once selected you will need to use a computer or mobile device to access the ESPN+ subscription website. Make note of the Activation Code displayed on your device.
9 – Once you have completed the subscription process, you will be prompted to log into your ESPN+/ESPN account.
10 – Once you are logged in, you will be able to enter your payment details and select “Agree & Subscribe”
to complete the subscription process.
NOTE: If any information is entered incorrectly you will receive an error message like below.
11 – If your payment is successful, return to the ESPN app on your device and select “Continue” to verify
the entitlement from your purchase is active.
12 – You will now see a subscription/purchase success screen or, if you previously selected a content teil, you will ba taken directly to that content.
- You need to open your browser.
- From there, you need to type “ESPN app for download” in the URL window of your screen.
- The search engine result will give you a list of sites from where you can download and install the ESPN app.
- However, it is always said that one must always go for www.eapn.com/activate as the product there will be verified.
- The site will display two options. A user can choose to get the app from App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store. You can proceed to click on the hyperlink based on your preference.
- You will then arrive at either the Google Play Store site or App Store (Apple) site, where you can proceed towards downloading your product.
- Download the app from there and then proceed to open the ”Downloads” folder.
- Search for the setup file and then proceed to double-click on it.
- The system will, of course, ask for your permission. Proceed to click on the “Yes” button.
- A window will appear which will further guide you in the installation process.
- After the installation is over, proceed to restart the system to clear out any bugs.
How to Activate ESPN+ on Your Device?
- After the installation is done, run the app and log in to your account.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on “ESPN+ Subscriptions.”
- You will be directed to the home page of ESPN+
- You will then be asked to choose your plan. Select either the “monthly” subscription or the “annual” subscription based on your preference.
- Read all the terms and conditions carefully
- Click on “Agree & Subscribe.” You may also choose to restore your subscriptions if you wish to reset your ESPN+ subscription.
- On the next page, proceed to choose “Set Up Account” to conclude the activation procedure. If you have followed all the procedures up until this point without any errors, then you can access your subscription on this device or any other supported device you have chosen to synchronize with
