Ultra Mobile Activate at www.ultramobile/activate: How do I Activate my Ultra Mobile?
To activate Ultra Mobile on your new phone Click on Settings -> Connections. Confirm that Wi-Fi Calling is not showing as an option. If it’s not showing, click Mobile networks and then click on Network mode.
Activating your Ultra Mobile service is easy. Here are the steps you can follow:
Choose a Plan and SIM Type:
- Ultra Mobile offers nano, micro, and standard SIM sizes to fit any device you have.
- If you’re using an eSIM-compatible phone, you’ll receive an email with a QR code for instant activation.
Activate Your SIM Card or eSIM:
- Follow the instructions included in your SIM kit to activate your SIM card.
- Decide whether you want to keep your current phone number or get a new one.
- For eSIM, activate your plan and then install your eSIM via QR code in seconds.
Enjoy Your Service:
- Insert your SIM card or instantly connect with eSIM to start using your Ultra Mobile service.
Keeping Your Current Number:
- If you want to transfer your current number to Ultra Mobile, call your current wireless carrier and confirm the following information before activating:
- Account Number
- Account PIN or Transfer PIN
- Billing Zip
- Keep your current service active until you activate your Ultra SIM.
Getting a New Phone Number:
- During activation, choose “Activate A New Number,” enter your zip code, and follow the prompts.

How to activate Ultra Mobile on your new phone
1. Click on Settings -> Connections
- Confirm that Wi-Fi Calling is not showing as an option. If it’s not showing, click Mobile networks and then click on Network mode.
- If Wi-Fi Calling is visible, you should already be fully connected.
2. Select 3G/2G (auto connect)
- Once selected, you should be back to the Mobile network menu
3. Restart the device
- You will be able to make calls, send SMS, and browse data in this setting
4. After an hour, go back to Settings -> Connections
- If Wi-Fi Calling is now visible, click on Mobile Networks -> Network Mode and select LTE/3G/2G (auto connect) to restore fully connectivity. If you have a 5G compatible device, select 5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect).
- If the Wi-Fi Calling option is not available, check back in a couple hours or contact our Care team at (213) 372-7777 for additional help.

Transfer your current number
Transferring your number onto Ultra is easy. Just be sure to call your current wireless carrier and confirm the following information before you activate:
- Account Number

Get a new phone number
If you choose to get a new number during activation, simply enter your zip code, choose your language preference, choose “Activate A New Number,” and follow the prompt. It’s that easy.
