To activate your new Simplii Debit Card, login into online or mobile banking at www.simplii.com with your new card number and existing password. Complete a transaction at a point-of-sale (POS) terminal or ATM with your new card and existing Personal Identification Number (PIN).
How do I activate my new card?
You can activate your card by completing any of the following:
Existing clients:
- Sign on to online or mobile banking with your new card number and existing password
- Complete a transaction at a point-of-sale (POS) terminal or ATM with your new card and existing Personal Identification Number (PIN)
New clients:
- Activate your card by making a PIN transaction at a POS terminal or ATM
When you activate your new card, all of your scheduled bill payments will be carried over from your old card.
With your new Simplii bank card you can now make purchases online and in-store, locally and internationally, wherever Mastercard is accepted. The functionality of the card is still the same, but we’ve added some more features.
- Shop online: Make online purchases directly from your Simplii bank account
- Shop in-store worldwide: Make purchases using your new bank card directly from your Simplii bank account at international merchants that accept Mastercard
How do I qualify for the Simplii Financial Cash Back Visa Card
- Your minimum household annual income is $15,000
- You’re a Canadian resident (excluding Quebec)
- You’ve reached the age of majority in your province or territory
- You haven’t declared bankruptcy in the last 7 years
How do I find out the status of my application?

How do I earn cash back rewards?
When you make purchases using your credit card, you’ll earn cash back rewards:
- 4% cash back at restaurant, bar and coffee shop purchases on your first $5,000 of net annual card purchases.
- 1.5% cash back on gas, grocery and drugstore purchases, and pre-authorized payments on your first $15,000 of net annual card purchases.
- 0.5% cash back on all other net annual credit card purchase.
