To activate your new Kohls card, please login or register on the credit.kohls.com. You can also activate your card by presenting your photo ID and Kohl’s card at the time of your next purchase or by calling 800-954-0244
Customers are able to activate a card as soon as 24 hours after a card has been requested, however you should not try activating until you’ve received your card in the mail.
How to Login
Register for online access
Tips: Once your Username is created, it CANNOT be changed.
- Click “Register for online access” on the login page.
- Enter your 12-digit card number from a Kohl’s Card. Please note: your account number from your statement will not work.
- Enter your last name as it appears on the Kohl’s Card.
- Enter your date of birth following the format shown (example: 01/01/1970).
- Enter your ZIP/Postal code.
- Click “Continue”.
- Enter a Username. Your Username is case sensitive, so when logging in, it will need to be entered exactly how you create it here. It must be 4-20 characters long and cannot be your password or email address.
- Enter your mobile phone number.
- Enter your email address and then confirm it by entering it again.
- Create a password. Here are the password guidelines:
- 8-20 characters
- 1 lowercase letter (a-z)
- 1 uppercase letter (A-Z)
- 1 number (0-9)
- 1 special character: ! @ # $ % ^ , _
- Cannot have more than two repeating characters
- Cannot be the same as username
- Re-enter your password.
- Click “Continue”.
- Complete our one time passcode process.

After I activate my card, can I use it to shop today?
After activating your card, you are ready to shop at any Kohl’s location, or online at www.kohls.com
Can I activate other cards on my Kohl’s Card account?
As the primary owner or authorized user, you can activate all cards on the account. Only a primary owner or authorized user can activate their cards online
Can I still use my old card after I activate my new Kohl’s Card?
Upon activating your new card, your old card is not deactivated. Please call to request that your card is deactivated. Additionally, make sure to cut up and discard your old card

Register your account at My Kohl’s Card for FREE online payments. You may also schedule one payment per day for up to 180 days in the future. Payments made after 7:00 p.m. (central time) will post the following day.

A bank routing and account number will be required if you are making an ACH payment. Debit cards are also accepted. Payments made after 7:00 p.m. (central time) will post the following day.
