How to Activate Paytm Wallet Without KYC?
Minimum KYC or Maximum KYC is required to activate and use the Paytm wallet. A minimum KYC provides limited access to the Paytm wallet and requires the user to provide sufficient information to activate it, whereas a full KYC allows a user to fully utilise the Paytm wallet. As a result, without submitting at least the minimum KYC, one cannot activate the Paytm wallet.
Reasons Why Paytm Wallet Not Working?
If you are unable to use your Paytm wallet for transactions, it is most likely due to an incomplete KYC or the addition of a beneficiary. As a result, the following precautions should be taken when using the Paytm wallet:
- KYC must be completed by both the sender and the receiver (Know Your Customer). If any of the parties has not completed their KYC, the transaction will be cancelled.
- Regardless of whether you have completed the KYC process, in order to send an amount greater than Rs. 10,000, you must add the receiver as a beneficiary in your Paytm app.
- If you receive a pop-up stating that the receiver has not completed KYC while attempting to send money to another Paytm user, you may share the link to upgrade KYC with the receiver via your Paytm app.
- You can send the money to the receiver once he or she has upgraded his or her account by completing their KYC.
- You will also be unable to receive funds into your account if your monthly limit has been reached.

- Download the Paytm app on your mobile phone and create an account by signing up using your email ID
- To access your Paytm account on the website, you need to click here on your laptop/computer, scan the visible QR code with your Paytm app on the phone and you will be able to access your profile on desktop
- Once your account is registered and verified through One Time Password (OTP), you can add money to your wallet through credit/debit cards, UPI, or net banking
- It is recommended to save your card details or bank UPI details on your Paytm account for easier, faster and safe transactions
