IPVanish Account Login : How to Manage and make changes to your IPVanish account
Any and all changes to your IPVanish account are made and managed through the IPVanish Account Control Panel. The IPVanish Account Control Panel makes updating or making changes to your account quick and easy. To access your IPVanish Account Control Panel, click the My Account link in the top right of our website and log in with your IPVanish username (This will be the email address on your IPVanish account unless you have a really old account) and password.
MY ACCOUNT control panel
After you log into your IPVanish Account Control Panel, you will see five (Or six if you have the VIPRE Advanced Security Addon) different tabs the green tab is the active tab (By default you will land on the Account tab after login) The different tabs listed below will allow you to view, update or change your account information (Including email address and account password), your subscription plan level, billing information for your credit card or PayPal, or the username and password to access our SOCKS5 proxy servers. If you would like to jump to a particular section, simply click on any of the links given below:

Account
The Account tab allows you to change the email address on your account and change the password used to log in and connect. These changes can be made under the Account Information section (On the left in the image above).
Account Information
- The email address registered with your IPVanish account will be displayed here.
- Click Update to update your current email address.
- Click Reset My Password to reset your current password with a new one. Enter your Current Password, New Password and re-enter the New Password in their corresponding fields to reset your password. Click on the Submit button to save the changes made.
Your Profile
- Your current Account Status is displayed in this field.
- Your current IPVanish subscription plan level is shown in this field.
- Your next renewal date is the date of your next billing.
- Your renewal type is displayed in this field (It will show renew or canceled).
- Your renewal plan, which is the frequency at which your plan will be renewed is displayed in this field. This can be changed by clicking on the ‘change’ option that re-directs you to the Subscription tab.
- This field shows the type of payment method you are using to pay for your IPVanish account (We support major credit cards and PayPal).
Billing
The Billing tab enables you to update your IPVanish billing details under the Billing Information section. You can select from Credit Card or PayPal as options to pay for your IPVanish account. These two options are displayed under the Billing Information section.
Credit Card
If you want to update your credit card information, select the Credit Card option.
- Enter the cardholder’s name in this field.
- Enter the credit card number in this field.
- Enter your credit card’s expiration date in this field.
- Enter your CVC in this field. The CVC or card verification code is the last three digits of the number printed on the signature strip on the reverse side of your credit card.
Billing address
If there is any change in your billing address details, you can update them under the Billing Address section.
- Select your home location for the COUNTRY field from the drop-down.
- Enter your primary address in this field.
- You have an option to add additional address details if needed in this field.
- Type your City, State/Province, and Zip code in these fields.
- Review the account plan autorenewal details and pricing and check the box to agree to the autorenewal terms.
- Once you have provided the updated information, click on the Update Credit Card button to complete the process.
PayPal
- If you prefer to change the payment method to PayPal, select the PayPal tab. Click on the Update PayPal Billing button and you will be redirected to PayPal to update your payment method securely.
Your Profile
- Your current Account Status is displayed in this field.
- Your current user tier or your current subscription plan level is shown in this field.
- Your next renewal date is the date of your next billing.
- Your renewal type is displayed in this field.
- Your renewal plan, which is the frequency at which your plan will be renewed is displayed in this field. This can be changed by clicking on the ‘change’ option that re-directs you to the Subscription tab.
- This field shows the payment method you are using to pay for your IPVanish account.
Subscription
The subscription tab allows you to select a plan that works best for you. The details of your account information will be displayed below the Account Information section on this page.
- This includes your Account Status (Active or canceled).
- This field displays a coupon if you have any Active Coupons
- Renewal Tier is the IPVanish subscription plan level set to renew on your next bill date. You can select the desired plan from the subscription plan dropdown menu to renew on the next bill date.
- The Renewal Date is the date of your next billing.
- The Renewal Action shows whether your account will be renewed or canceled.
- The Current Billing Period is the frequency at which you will be billed (Ex. Annual or Monthly)
- Created Date is the date on which your IPVanish account was created.
- Once you select the desired renewal plan, check the box agreeing to the confirmation message to set the selected subscription plan to renew for you on your next renewal date.
- Click the Submit button to submit the changes.
- If you wish to cancel your subscription, then click on the “I wish to cancel my subscription” link displayed below the Submit button. You will be re-directed to our Cancellation Page to complete the cancellation process.
Server List
The server List page displays IPVanish Configuration Files and Server List.
- The OpenVPN configuration files for all operating systems can be downloaded from here.
- IPVanish VPN software compatible with Windows can be downloaded from here.
- The Server List section displays a list of the IPVanish servers and their details.
- You can select how many servers show in the list by selecting a number from the dropdown menu
- Shows (Click on the column to sort by it) the country in which the server is located.
- Shows the city (Click on the column to sort by it) where the server is located.
- Shows the server addresses, which are needed for any IPVanish manual setup or router configuration.
- Shows the server’s capacity status in percentage -This helps you select a server with a lower capacity or load for optimal performance.
- You can use the search option to filter out your preferred IPVanish server.
SOCKS5 Proxy
The SOCKS5 Proxy tab helps you to generate a new SOCKS5 proxy username and password.
- This is your proxy username.
- You can find your proxy password here.
- The proxy port is displayed here.
- You can click on the Reset Credentials button to reset your SOCKS5 Proxy username and password.
- The Host Names list is the SOCKS5 Proxy server address list.
- Shows the country (Click on the column to sort by it) in which the SOCKS5 server is located.
- The Location column shows the city (Click on the column to sort by it) where the SOCKS5 Proxy server is located.
- Shows the server addresses, which are needed for any P2P client configurations
- You can use the search option to filter out your preferred IPVanish SOCKS5 Proxy server.
VIPRE Addon
The VIPRE tab will be available if you have subscribed to an IPVanish VPN plan that also includes the VIPRE Advanced Security antivirus addon. Your VIPRE subscription information will be displayed on this tab.
- Click here to download your VIPRE Advanced Security antivirus software.
- Your VIPRE product key is shown here (You will need this when installing VIPRE for the first time).
- Click this icon to copy your product key so you can then paste it into the VIPRE installer.
