When you unblock someone, that person will be able to see your posts on Facebook that you share with the public. The person won’t automatically become your friend on Facebook. If you want to become friends with a person who you’ve unblocked, you’ll need to send them aย friend request.
- Click ห (down arrow) in the top right of Facebook.
- Selectย Settings & privacy, then clickย Settings.
- In the left column of your settings, clickย Blocking.
- In theย Block users section, you should see a list of people you’ve blocked
- Clickย Unblock next to the name of the person you want to unblock
- Clickย Confirm to finish unblocking the person
Note: If you unblock someone, you won’t be able to block them again for a few days

- See your messages if you’re both in the same group conversation. If you and the person who you block are in a group conversation together, you’ll be notified before you enter the conversation.
- Communicate with you if they’re not logged in to their account and join a room that you’re in. Remember that you canย leave a roomย at any time.
