When asked about his son, Dr Akshay Gupta’s father said, “He used to put a lot of effort into everything he did, whether it was sports or school. I thought he’d get around 700, so this came as a complete surprise.”
Tanmay’s mother, Dr Shivali Gupta, stated: “I want the young people of Jammu and Kashmir to know two things about Tanmay. To begin, he had a daily goal that he was determined to achieve no matter what the cost. To begin with, he’s dependable and focused. We couldn’t be happier with him.”
