Samsung Account Keeps Stopping Error | Steps to Fix

This is a widespread issue popping up for many Samsung users right now (mid-December 2025). The error is almost certainly caused by a conflict between the Samsung Account app and Microsoft OneDrive (specifically the Gallery Sync feature).

Here are the fixes, starting with the one that is currently working for most people.

Fix 1: Disable or “Deep Sleep” Microsoft OneDrive (Most Likely Fix)

The current bug seems to be triggered when the Samsung Account tries to sync your Gallery with OneDrive. Breaking this connection stops the crash loop.

1. Open Settings > Apps.

2. Find OneDrive in the list.

3. Tap Disable (at the bottom).

   • Note: If you need OneDrive for work/files, you can try to “Force Stop” it first to see if that buys you time, but disabling it is the surest fix until Samsung patches this.

4. Restart your phone.

Alternative: If you can’t disable it, put it to sleep:
